Went there just for a curiosity to compare this to other kebab shops around West Auckland. Staff is super friendly and super helpful, maybe even too much. Food in general is in very good quality. I took kebab on rice, once I had reached my home and started to eat, I realised that kebab doesn’t have much meat as other, I would say I was served a vegetarian like meal…
A friend and I stopped for vegetarian lunch here. Easy to park opposite and use the crossing. Friend has been in Auckland for 13 years and found these to be the best felafel ever. Owner was kind enough to explain how he made them, and even where he bought his beans. Great fresh salads. Noticed home cooking options and I would think they would be better for your health than always selecting kebabs. Recommended.
Was disgusting, kebab was cold, the kebab wrap was stale , the garlic yogurt sauce tasted off and the meat tasted old and cold when I went back in to collect my food I saw a fly in the part the keen the sauces and salad .. ew! But too shy to say anything. I ate not even a quarter of the kebab and then threw it out to the birds also ended up with a stomach ache that night
The guy who runs this place is so friendly and genuinely kind. I had really bad hiccups and he brought me a mug of water. Kebabs are on point too, I highly recommend
How is this place even open? They have been there for years, and for years they were great. However, because of the recent kebab i had i will not be back and not recommend. Everything was dry and old, and cold? Falalfel was chewy, old and disgusting. Salad with kebab was cabbage and bit a tomato… really? Are they deliberately trying to run their business into the ground? Who the heck is running this place or owns it. Total rip off. Do not go!!!!
Normally I dont write reviews but I was so disappointed with this I have to say something. I ordered a kebab and what i received was not eatable and I had to throw away. The bread wasn’t heated at all so was dry and slightly stale, the meat was cold from the fridge (they didnt have any hot meat cooking by the looks of it) and it wasnt toasted at all. It fell apart when the tinfoil was removed and really wasnt nice at all after 1 bite. Really disappointing but the lady serving was lovely so I didnt go back or get a refund but deffinitley will not go again.
Very friendly service and always with a smile. Food is great and the salad is always super fresh. Portions are not very big but still average. Would recommend if you Want something other than the average takeaways in glendene
