This a your small hole in the wall variety eatery but boy oh boy do they deliver on the taste! Whatever we decide to try, tastes amazing. Have to say this is now my favourite Indian place ever! I am not a fan of super thick curries most Indian places offer on their menu. This place offers indochinese options and south indian curries which I love love love! Also, I never get tummyaches after eating their food like I always do with other more famous restaurents like Paradise in Sandringham, so that’s a plus.
we ordered the chinese indian and believe me it was the worst food we tasted in my life and i had to go back to the restaurant and return all three dishes and tell them i would never eat their as long as i was alive.absolutely crap food and no offense might keep people who have never tasted indian food happy but if you have tried even a half decent indian restaurant you will never eat here again
This place is very hit and miss, I think there are 2 chefs, one who makes absolutely amazing food and one who makes terrible food. I always order chicken manchurian and sometimes its beautiful, a nice dark color and perfect seasoning but other times its disgusting, its bright red and full of capsicum. I would rate this place so much higher if they were consistent with their food. we never know what we are going to get when we place an order.Edit Mar 19: the menu had changed and everything is terrible now. Will never eat here again
Am very impressed with the speed in which we received our meal! Flavours are fantastic and as others have said, the butter chicken actually had substance and flavour! Not just a tomato soup other places have become custom to producing! Overall am very impressed and will be back!! Delicious and generous! Safe to say we will actually be coming back here!Thanks for lunch tomorrow! 😉
Once I had a bite into my samosa I was amazed. The samosa was delicious. I wasn’t only surprised by the food, but the customer service was fantastic too. I am glad that they put the price at $10.50 because the food also comes with a drink and naan bread. After I finished my food, I WAS FULL.If you are going to go there I recommendEVERYTHING!And I now think that I will be coming there regularly.
I have just finished devouring a lamb saagwala takeaway lunch special and I was not disappointed.I ordered over the phone and it was ready in just 10 minutes. The server was friendly and for only $10.50 to include a drink and naan seemed extremely generous.When I arrived at home I was delighted to see that the generosity did not stop there. As if in a delicious curry dream the serving trough was stuffed to overflowing with both rice and curry. Not to mention it was also delicious. With considerable effort – and possibly stupidity – I managed to finish it all. I think I’ll be skipping dinner tonight.Superb, I will be returning regularly.

We were so sad when our usual place dropped in quality – all cream, all gristle.We came here once on a whim and were very impressed, as the curries were so packed with flavour and so cheap!!We have been back numerous times since and each time has been amazing. Today, we ordered two samosas with our meal but only one was ready, we we swapped for one samosa and some bhaji. The server was really apologetic but it was absolutely no trouble at all!We recommend:Chicken/lamb saagwala – succulent, flavourful spinachy goodnessChicken/lamb korma – perfectly cooked and absolutely delightful Butter chicken – my wife’s favourite but usually something I won’t go near, as most places it tastes like creamy tomato soup. This one is so flavourful and tasty! Bhaji and samosas! Peshwari naan, regular, butter naan! Sweet and sour chicken And everything else!
