A friend told me that they have average food, so one evening (when I am feeling like to eat take away food), I decided to try instead of going to my usual take away place.First – the service was so poor. It’s dinner time around 6pm and they refused to cook the food that I would like to order.Second – Can’t be bother to go somewhere else, I just ordered what’s available on their warmer and… the food is just very very disappointing!I will never ever come back! Period!i should just stick with my usual Glenfield take away next to Civic Video. They are the best!

This is not our usual takeaway, but as a change I wanted to try this takeaway again when my husband insisted to go to our usual one.We ordered large chicken fried rice, chopsuey combination meats and crumbed chicken breasts. And also told them not to put MSG. Fried rice was extremely greasy and not tasty at all, same went with chopsuey ,though ordered combination meat no meat at all in the chop suey. However I should say thet haven’t added MSG I instructed.Not finished the dishes, so disappointed. Waste of money, don’t recommend this anymore.
Worst roast ever.Ordered roast pork meal and they gave me sliced ham.They gave me fried chips instead of roasted potatoes, only 3 pieces of peas and rest were carrots… why even bother serving 3 pieces of pea? I saw one of them get a frozen pumpkin out of their freezer and just cooked it in the microwave for my order.Worst part was the apple sauce, the lady couldn’t get any of the sauce out of the squeezing bottle due to no sauce left in the bottle, so she opened the lid and started to scrape every single bit out of the bottle to put into my order, which really looked disgusting as she scraped the inside of the bottle.I’ve had many roast pork meals all over Auckland, but this place was the worst and can not get worse.. total waste of money…

Went to pick up my order and there were 6-8 Large German cockroaches on the front glass cabinet (there will be many many more out of sight) From working in pest control I know that these disease carrying little blighters will have likely made many customers very sick from eating here and must have massive numbers to be out during the day as they are nocturnal, I should have known from looking at the front cabinet with the dust build up and the fly bug parts mixed in with the grease that this place is dangerous to eat at. Place needs a full deep clean from a proper cleaning company and regular pest control by a registered pest control company before its allowed to sell food again.
We tried 3 dishes here, sweet n sour pork, beef black bean and chicken fried rice. All were really tasty, the beef was beautifully tender and the pork not fatty or grisly at all. Plenty for leftovers too!
