Great korean restaurant nearby that I can always rely on when I’m too lazy to cook dinner. Have been a regular for almost a year now. There has been a change of owner recently but the food is still great and tastes authentic and the quality is also consistent. I love that they actually use better quality rice here compared to other places. And their stews/soups are really good. I especially love their lamb soup, which is amazing and really warm and filling for cold winter nights. But for those who can’t take spicy food very well, I would recommend to order non-spicy or less spicy.Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this place!! It a real hidden jem!
Change of owner. They no longer doing bbq but have various korean food. Their kimchi jjim and bone soup were nice, other soup we ordered was way too spicy. They are doing promotion that if you out pictures of their food on social media (fb) they give you free kimchi pancake.
Had gamjatang (pork bone soup) Medium, the meal was worth what I paid for. Really rich in flavour and there are so many slow cooked pork bones whose the meat is easily scrapped off. You can also order them to fry the rice on the same pot at the end. I’d definitely come back to try other dishes.
Full of drunk people come here to dine, owner seems very cold and unhappy. Their side dish bean sprout went bad so i did tell owner off. There was no apology, bbq beef was below average. This is one of disappointing experience where my friend took me.
We decided to try this place for experience. When we got there, we were seated rather quickly since the place was empty anyway, besides a couple who were nearly finishing their dinner. The owner, I’m assuming, had a cold vibe to him. We ordered beef spare ribs, fried rice prawns and bimbimbap. It was a bit too pricey for the amount but the food were tasty. The owner practically cooked the meat for us (putting it on the stove, turning and cutting the meat). We enjoyed our meal there but it was just so quiet and felt like we were treated differently than other customers. There was one that came while we were having dinner and the owner greeted them and was just more friendly to them than how he treated us. I might go back to this place but not for a very long time …. I like to receive an acceptable/good service along with my food in which this restaurant failed to give.
I love to come here every Saturday afternoon after work. The owners treat me like their family. They are very nice and warm-hearted.I love their bibibang! so fresh vegetables with tasty sauce and beef!Their bbq beef ribs are awesome!I’m so happy to have them close to my work place and I could always enjoy the meal here!
Was my first time to a korean bbq place so I rated on what I thought of the food and service..Told them was my first time and what to do? Get to cook ya own meat on hotplate was cool but all the noodles and stuff seemed raw so i also cooked them, then They were laughing at me..lol…Some hot food in baine maries but hot? They were pretty much cold so kids didnt enjoy at all…Service was pretty poor I thought..Could have been alot better..
