The hotdogs and fried chicken here are pretty decent however the Fish and Chips are not good quality. For students who are wanting something quick and cheap to fill their tummiesthe wokis an alright option but warning the owners are not exactly fond of students probably due to previous disputes.
On a quick lunch break. Came here for a quick simple lunch. while it filled my tummy, and food tastes not bad. a bit too pricy compared to other takeaway options. Most likely won’t come back.
Friend ordered chips/fritters, they weren’t cooked through, I ordered chicken chow mein, and it didn’t have noodles, as well as the chicken not being cooked through either. Staff weren’t very friendly but apparently that’s normal when serving students, I can’t imagine myself ordering from here again.
Haven’t tried the European fried foods but the Chinese is good. Nice fresh vegetables lightly cooked and reasonable amount of meat. Ambiance is non existant as its a takeaway bar
really gross. deep fried things aredoughy and under-cooked, meat is see-through. stir fry and sweet n sour dishes about half-fill the container and not much sauce.
would sometimes lunch here when temping at the nearby DHB, dishesnot bad andis your typical westernized Chinese takeout style, grills well made/presented and won hon soup had too much soy. They also do gourmet burgers and half portions as well.Manned by ahard workingfriendly couple , sometime just himself only on quieter times..
We go there nearly every week. Both their Fish and Chips and Chinese are so yummy! And really good prices as well. The couple who own it are lovely and do a really great job. Would recommend to all 🙂
