We live just around the corner, and popped into Frieda’s for drinks and a snack a couple of weeks ago.We enjoyed the experience, really like the decor, however service was very slow – it took about half an hour for the bar lady to make my fianc’s mojito, which resulted in me being almost finished with my drink by the time he got his.The drinks were on the expensive side too.We shared the cheese board, which was ready, but quite small.All in all, it’s nice for a casual drink after work but I doubt we’ll become frequent visitors.

The styling is understated but enough to create a sense of atmosphere, the service was excellent, the wine list concise but varied and interesting. If I lived close (and didn’t have the mortgage etc sucking me dry) I would pretty much live here. Didn’t try any of the food so can’t vouch for that sorry.
