My partner and I have been here a few times on a Friday evening. Love the atmosphere and interior but unfortunately have always left disappointed by the food.
This place is really neat. Love the whole concept and warm ambiance. There is a few hit & miss.Hit: Great food and must have seaweed chips and pocket tostie.Awesome portion for sharing.Reasonably priced Very good service and diplomatic.Miss: It’s hard to notice this place exist with only the logo. Definately need the branding more visible for potential customer. The font on the menu is too small to read for the lighting inside. I need to use my phone light to read them.Overall. Loving this place and highly recommend place even on a rainy day
Came for lunch and loved this little hidden Grey Lyn gem!Such a cool venue, great food and beer the place has an industrial urban feel to it. I had the seaweed chips (banging) and the chicken tandoori wrap (mean)Good service and staff super friendly.
A great atmosphere, but very unfriendly staff. We approached the bar and not even a smile in sight. The staff seem pretentious and as they will find out, this will not get you very far with the locals. Food is average, pork skewer was completely dry and overcooked. The buns on the chicken sliders were tough, as if they had not been steamed properly or were old stock, and the chicken wings which are supposed to be crispy were soggy. Clearly a great place to have a drink, but the food is quite shocking and overpriced for the quality they are putting out. We will return, but only for a drink.
New favourite local. Good selection of beers and wines, good patio for getting sunburnt on, generous pours, and excellent food that was surprisingly quick.
Absolutely stunning inside- wooden floors and brick walls, plants lining the walls, a huge glasshouse roof. The food was ok- took ages to come(30 mins and it was quiet at the time) and was lacking a bit of flavour- perhaps needed some more salt and lemon juice- but it was still lovely! They don’t do hot coffee- only cold brew- but a great selection of other drinks. Would come back again.
Enjoyed champagne and lunch for Mothers Day. Fabulous service, music, food and decor. Super cool! Will definitely return soon. Claudia loves!
