I like this place, it just felt good and looked good. Called in for a quick breakfast before a business meeting. The service was spot on, free sparkling water and menu delivered straight away, although they were not busy so that wasn’t difficult to achieve. That said there are plenty of venues who manage to fall over that pretty small hurdle! I ordered the Cheddar Pancakes with Poached Egg and Tomatoes, mainly because Ive never had them before. They were pretty darn good! Fresh tasty cherry tomato’s of varying colours with basil, soft poached egg, mayo and another sauce I could not quite pick and fluffy pancakes with a bit of crispiness and I did get the Cheddar flavour. Only downside is that at the front door there were three dogs tied up having a bottom sniffing contest which they attempted to recruit me into as I left. Nothing against dogs at all but please keep the entrance clear. All and all very well done.
