A little Korean burger place in Grey Lynn. Staff are friendly. Service in general is good but you will have to wait a bit before you have your favorite burger on the table. I prefer the one with beef while my partner perfers the chicken one. Food is delicious. And because the shop is only 2-min drice from our home, we definitely will come back xxx

Definitely one of the best burgers in town. Kimchi is great. Friendly staff, good service and good prices. Great to go with friends. The place is not very big, but has different areas which give privacy.

Korean-themed burgers. Epic! Strangely enough, this place wasnt even on my radar. It was my friend who is a self-professed burger lover that recommended this place. We dined in at the restaurant and what you would notice quite quickly is how modern the place was. Nothing too fancy, but there were small amounts of Korean goodness sprayed around to give it that fusion feeling. What I assumed Tiger Burger was well known for was their burgers. I was enlightened that they are also known for their signature thick shakes. The shake flavors would vary and when my friend ordered his one it was roasted white chocolate flavor. I had a sip and Ill have to agree that the shakes here were awesome. Our burgers did take some time though; however they came out moist and flavorsome.I got the double kimcheese and the cheeky hoisin. Both burgers were tasty in their own right, the kimcheese would be like your standard double beef burger with cheese, the addition of the kimchi did provide an interesting texture and a small spice kick. For 21$ its on the pricey end, the single burger would have been more than enough. Didnt get to try my friends burger, I did want to but when I asked the burger was already gone.Showstopper: Atmosphere and solid burgersOverall Grade: B+

Serving unique korean asian fusion burgers in central Auckland.Service: 9/10The staff was welcoming and allowed us to choose our seats. They also allowed us to switch to the open backdoor area since it was more open and quiet. The guy that served us was very friendly and helpful. He came to our service immediately whenever we called for him and brought us everything we needed. He helped us refill our water and clear our plates, he also informed us about the status of our dessert. The food was dished out pretty quickly so we werent too anxious.Food: 8/10We ordered the chicken and waffle special, kimcheese, cheeky hoisin, k-fries, mango float cake and a cold brew coffee. The coffee was a pretty sad portion and tasted ok.The kimcheese had a nice pickled spicy flavour. The meat was tender and fatty with a soft and buttery bun. The mayonnaise and cheese also cuts the spiciness so it wasnt unbearably hot.The cheeky hoisin had delicious bbq flavour pulled pork which punched you in the face with flavour. The pickles and slaw added some texture to balance out the tender meat. The chicken and waffle special was the highlight of the day. The iced waffle had a more cakey texture compared to a bun. The fillings all had more of a bite in comparison. The chicken was fried till crunchy but not greasy, the chicken was also juicy. The slaw was creamy and crunchy, the jalapeos were actually quite sweet. The bacon was fatty and crispy. The k-fries resembled McDonalds fries. They were crisp potatoes topped with deliciously cheesy sauce. The mango float cake was milky and not too sweet. The layers of cream fit nicely with the soft cake and mango flesh. You cant really taste the mango but there is a little sour sprinkling on top, I think it mightve been freeze dried raspberry.Ambiance: 7/10From the outside it doesnt seem like much of an interesting restaurant, just like a ordinary bar, but when you step inside and go down the corridor, you will discover a secret garden. The front of the house of quite dark and noisy, it doesnt feel quite like a dining setting. The garden at the back is so bright and beautiful. The fake grass and plants create a clean and comfortable feeling. The dark tones of the furniture fits in with the nighttime dining and nightlife. It can get quite loud since there is music playing and also the kitchen is quite close to the dining area. There is actually quite a lot of seating considers the small amount of space. This is a pretty good place to eat at when youre feeling fancy and wanna eat a burger that isnt from a fast food restaurant.

Amazing burger – poor performance. I had to try this place… expectation was burgers with an Asian fusion spin. Walked in to a fairly clean venue and welcoming staff. Ordered the Galbi burger with extra cheese and some fries, and the homemade sparkling tea. Burger was juicy and tasty… yum! boom! Flavour explosion. Staff was friendly but unfortunately the burger took too long to be delivered (and the place wasn’t a full house). Fries arrived when i was finishing the burger (about 45 mins after ordering). I was offered tomato sauce but it never made it to the table. The tea wasn’t sparkling at all…. I left with mixed feelings, I want to eat more of these amazing burgers but I won’t put up with poor service. 7:30pm and they were already turning customers away, really? While I wasn’t on my phone I noticed at least 10 customers turned away. Not sure I will come back.

Just a really good burger! Kimchi and cheese is a killer combo. Beef patty was well cooked, very tender and juicy.Crunchy fries, yummy sesame mayo sauce and delicious thickshakes.Thickshakes change weekly so good they’re keeping things fresh. They also had a special called the potato dog which is like a corn dog except with fries wrapped around it. The sausage and fries component were quite good but it was sprinkled with too much sugar which slightly throws the balance off.Overall a great experience! Looking forward to trying their other burgers.Food: 4/5Service: 5/5Environment: 4/5

Love, love this place because of the ambience and the staff! 5 stars for them! I like how personalised their service is. You wont need to ask anything extra as they already know what you may need. The burgers are good but I have tried better burgers. Will definitely come back for their sexy chips hahah! Thanks also for the free dessert!
