Excellent food, excellent service, plenty of variety. The host was very friendly, came and asked us if everything was satisfactory. It is a small eatery but very clean and tidy with A ratings. We will definitely eat there again.
Lovely staff. Would recommend the Southern Indian and Fijian styled dishes and their roti. We went during the long weekend; they kindly explained that they didn’t have much of the options we wanted in stock (such as bone-in lamb, okra, or eggplant) so we ordered the Chicken 65, Fijian fish curry, and aloo gobi curries instead. Our favourite was the fish curry by far – my only critique of the food would be that the aloo gobi was missing potato (aloo means potato and makes a big textural difference). We ate-in (they have one table plus a bar leaner counter for two stools) and they gave us great service. We’ll definitely be back – I’m hoping to try the options they didn’t have on our next visit.
The best Samosas I have ever had would highly recommend. I also love the vegetarian dishes like Mattar Paneer and Mattar Mushroom. Great quality food for good prices.** edit**I have since tried the fiji syle crab curry and it it amazing and authentic. The butter chicken is by far my favourite in auckland, love how sweet it is.
Butter Chicken was really watery and the chicken was burnt. I came here to find the best butter chicken but didn’t. I will not be coming here again.
