Very yummy food and tasty. Great portion size and well priced. Random music but Customer service was great. Will always go back and recommend to friends to go too.
Came here for lunch last week. Probably the worst Thai food Ive had. Doesnt taste authentic at all. service was non existent. The lady at the front looked as though she doesnt want to be there and was on her cellphone most of the time.
A good customer service here with an awesome atmosphere. They have tasty Thai food with a good range of options. I recommend this place for Thai food lovers. They would give you a good night out.
Not quite sure what happened here..Used to be one of my favourite Thai place to go to, but the quality dropped. Customer service is okay, food isn’t as nice as it used to be Sorry.
Hands down the worst Thai I have ever eaten in Auckland. The decor is uncomfortable, forced and feels more like a retirement village dining hall than anything even remotely Thai related. The service was acceptable, but didn’t come close to creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is where it gets really bad, I selected a mixed entree which both the money bag AND curry puff were filled with bland, flavourless and dry mince, which was accompanied with FROZEN MIXED VEGES and completely lacking in seasoning. Then there was the satay skewer, dry, stringy, chewy and pretty much inedible. Pad Thai for main with prawns which were cooked well although unfortunately the whole dish was a little off. I feel really disappointed to be writing such a terrible review but my experience at Thai Kitchen lacked heart and soul. It lacked the enthusiasm the Thai people bring to their food. Save your money folks. Would not recommend.
Sadly what use to be our local Thai place is no longer. For years we looked past the most bland Thai decor restaurant as the quality of the food was second to none however our last take out I found the mixed entree smelt off and overcooked as if to disguise expired ingredients? Our last dine in experience while always pleasant as ever again the food quality was poor and bland tasting. We couldn’t look past the decor that last time and haven’t been back since. My chicken penang had less meat more potato (???) and lots of carrots.Hubby’s Thalay Med was not very tasty that time round and we thought perhaps lacked the lovely Thai tasting experience we normally receive and he didn’t think there was enough seafood mix and it was a bit rubbery to the taste…not sure but it didn’t do it for him.
Went for dinner here on Friday 2nd January, and I have to say it was very disappointing, I’m not sure where the chef gained there qualifications but the food was very mundane, I had my favourite…Pad Thai, while my friend had a sweet and sour pork, both poorly presented with grated cabbage, piece of parsley, and two grapes both still with there stalk on!!! Food was quite disappointing, and the service was slow, we got our entrees….again disappointing but then there was a long delay until our mains finally arrived. Wouldn’t dine here again for the money we paid. Will be driving further afield for quality Thai food.
