This is great Bar. We have been there last week and few times before as well. Always had a good experience. especially thanks to Param manager and Benjamin taking caring and looking after us. We highly recommend this bar to everyone… cheers…
Magnificent Steak! They would even show you the meat slice before they cook it. This is where I tasted one of the best steaks in New Zealand.
Was an important day & realised Andiamo’s was closed last minute.First time here for lunch and a few drinks.Service was below average or to put simply non existent. I had order very drink & even the meals from the bar sometimes waiting what seemed a life time.Sometimes we wondered if anyone was actually working here.Order the rump steak which was the most over cooked steak I’ve ever eaten, to which in the fist time in my life is just couldn’t bring myself to finish anything after a couple a bites.Maybe the bar tender cooked we wondered, as never saw anyone else & possibly him 4 times for the two hours we were there.Disappointing, Safe to say we won’t be back.
I often make comment in my reviews about wine lists, and how they could do with a bit more diversity… But not here! Admittedly this is a wine bar, and it should have a better variety, but the options here really are exceptional. And it is made better thanks to the Coravin wine system that they have, allowing some less common and more wonderful wines to be available by the glass! This is backed up with a short tapas style menu, which I found to be equally as good, and very complimentary for the wine. And let’s not forget to mention that the atmosphere is also very relaxing and enjoyable – complete with live music even when I arrived. Benjamin (the proprietor) is also a sommelier, and was more than happy to discuss all the great options to ensure the experience was just right. I will definitely be visiting the Jervois Road Wine Bar & Kitchen again – but next time by Uber, so I can enjoy even more…
Love this bar! The location is perfect. Great tapas food! The drinks are very yummy! Staff are awesome too. Really thanks Permjeet the punjaabe guy always rocks, bean and other staff. The music is always good and gets everyone into a good mood
