Sat outside on a sunny Sunday with our dog and had 2 mochas and 1 ginger slice. Positives – great atmosphere, lovely decor, happy staff, accommodating to dogs outside, the cooked plates next to us smelt delicious. Negatives – $17.50 for 2 drinks and a slice!!!!! Wow, we will head back to our hood in Parnell where its a tad cheaper.
We highly recommend this cafe! It is family run and family friendly. Has excellent service and food. A great place for breakfast with a few twists to the regular items on offer including a egg dish with curry flavourings- was delish…
We really enjoyed our brunch at The Governor list Sunday. It was super busy but the staff attended us quickly and the food didn’t take long to come out at all. I ordered the Avocado which was delicious, although would of loved two poached eggs as it wasn’t that filing! My partner ordered the Indian Eggs which was delicious but again not that big. The cafe is modern and very clean. Will definitely be back!

Super friendly and Family Operated. Lovely fresh food. Great coffee – love their frappuccinos – recommend during the hot summer days. Fresh modern decor. Doggy friendly…Can sit outside with your dog.
Add Toulouse sausage to your open omelette. You wont regret it. Omelette was perfectly cooked and flavour-balanced. Salmon was fresh and beautifully presented. Ask for the almond butter for your toast! Staff were lovely. Would most definitely come again.
Place was very loud, and the food was okay, some were big missed and others were just okay. Staff were okay, nothing flash but it was busy. Prices were okay, would try again but only if lunch menu available
