Love this place! Great food and drinks, loved their milk buns, fried chicken, braised lamb and hot chocolate fondant for that perfect end to a nice meal. On top of that, tonight’s service from the team was top notch.
I have had the pleasure of dining here a few times now. The food is right up my alley, Thursday is wings night and they are truly delicious, spicy, sweet, sour you name it. They change the menu regularly and serve them up with the best beer selection. The Moxie milk buns are a must!
Good food good service overall enjoyed our experience. The menu has lots of different dishes to choose from which makes it hard however we managed to get enough flavours to keep us happy. Pat and Geoff

Visited on Friday for our wedding anniversary, our first time coming here. Pleasantly surprised with a complimentary glass of bubbles each on arrival. Service was great – friendly, prompt and efficient. The food was wonderful – shared the Milk buns with sticky pork to start – absolutely delicious. Our mains were the Turkey breast and the market fish (Hapuka) – again absolutely delicious. Fished off with the chocolate fondant and orange brulee. Wonderful way to end. Would recommend Moxie to anyone wanting a good night out with great food. We will be back.
Had a fantastic night out with a few friends. The service was incredible, staff helped make us feel so at home. The milk buns with sticky pork are definitely worth a try, and a Pickle Back if you’re game (we downed quite a few). Will definitely be back, thanks to the team at Moxie
