Last time I came to this restaurant with my friends. I do like the BBQ duck which is tasted crispy and delicious. Warm service is provided. I will try more cuisine next time.

We went there with family and friends in a group of 7. Some of us are elderly people and would not be able to have heavy meal. So we decided to order 5 dishes which included fish, chicken, prawn, vegetables and bean soup curd. The waitress who served us (the older one) was not happy . She kept saying that we needed another dish and forcefully asked us to order another dish. We ended up with 6 which we were not able to finish. The restaurant was under staff the whole night with only 2 people serving . The taste was average. There was even a fry flying around during our dinner which was disgusting. Compliment goes to the other (younger) waitress who was able to work around the tables with a smile.

I love their lobster so much. Big portion and reasonable price. Their staffs were very friendly. We had birthday dinner here, everybody were happy with these delicious dishes.

The most terrible service I have ever seen. $2 charge for water, so many surcharge without pre- inform. There are so many other options could replace this restaurant, most horrible experience ever.

We had fried rice noodles with beef, fried noodles with pork, braised noodles & roasted duck on rice for lunch. Food was good for value, but bland & uninteresting. Just as any of the Chinese restaurants in Highland Park, Somerville & eastern Auckland, quality is the main issue. (Food – 2/5; Service – 2.5/5; Ambience – 3/5)

usually come here for lobster wilt the hand pulled Yi Mee since it is the cheapest around the area. They serve a variety of seafood and meat dishes. The food is is ok but I find the flavours more Europeanised. The Pecking Duck here has a lot of meat (I prefer just the crispy skin) but they do have a second course of the fried duck bones which is salty and tasty. The place is usually busy during dinner so reserving a table is recommended.

Should be called Golden ‘mis’Fortune. I would recommend trying elsewhere. Lets start with a positive, staff were nice enough (nothing exceptional) and it went downhill from there. Terrible seats in an empty restaurant (by the door crammed by stacked furniture), mediocre ‘special chinese’ soup = flavourless broth with overcooked veges, cold crispy pork, average’ish’ peking duck, jellyfish salad (entree came after mains) was OK but I know where I can get better, hot pot pork again no flavour. One more positive – generous portions – but I would sooner have tasty than lots. So won’t be going back. Ah well.
