Im always on the lookout for a good coffee place as the cafes near me seem to cycle from having good coffee to bad coffee as baristas come and go. Well at the moment they all have bad coffee so tried this place while coffee lab is closed for Christmas. Coffee is clean tasting and strong perfect! Try it you won’t be disappointed.
I’m glad we tried out this new café. They have a good range on their menu and in their cabinet, with Colombian coffee also seems to be ground and roasted on site. But what really stands out is their excellent service; the staff are warm and friendly with a real heart for hospitality. When I visited for brunch on a weekday, I went for the pick-and-mix breakfast. Basically, $16 got me: halloumi, scrambled eggs, hash brown, some salmon and a flat white (which was on point). The portion wasn’t huge but it was filling, tasty, and great value. I’d say it’s best suited for people who aren’t super hungry and have a specific craving. I also tried their kumara filo, which had lovely flaky pastry and was filling for $8.50.Overall, a great option for those who work in the area and people who value top-notch hospitality. It’s definitely worth checking out and supporting this local business!
I’m hesitant to place a review because I don’t want anyone to know about this hidden gem.My partner and I had food and coffee and the total bill was about $30.She was impressed with the food, which never happens, so it has now become our local and we don’t even live on the shore.
