Come here every couple of weeks for the $12 eggs and bacon and small coffee. I am never disappointed how ever you prefer your eggs (even poached) they are always cooked perfectly as well as the bacon. Coffee is always delicious and never burnt you can tell they know what theyre doing here
First time at this cafe and for a local it’s great. Food was good and so was the coffee. Their cabinet food looked good as well so would definitely go back
We often grab breakfast and/or coffee at this place as it is handy. We always get the bagel avo ugly bagel. The food is simple but generous and very reasonably priced. Ambience is good as well and the place is pretty spacious. Highly recommended to locals who can walk there.
This is my husband’s favourite breakfast/brunch place . He will rate it a 5star in a heartbeat because of their big breakfast. He really likes everything on the big breakfast, especially the baked beans and the creamy mushrooms.. he said it’s the best breakfast in Auckland and he doesn’t mind driving 30mins just for this place . That’s how much he loves it . For me I always ordered either a pancake or a french toast everytime I tried new places , I ordered the french toast here and it was delicious . Im a coffee drinker and their Iced mocha was alright it’s not something I would rave about but it’s alright its on the OK side for me . So far we’ve been here a few times and service was always good and same with the food . We’ll go back again (just because of my husband) lol .
Heard a lot about this cafe, so took my partner and daughter for a Mother’s Day breakfast , restaurant it self is spaced out well and has a nice atmosphere, so we ordered a big breakfast, hash brown stack and eggs on toast & side of fries, food came out out roughly 15mins which was good but I must say our food wasn’t Hot! Just luke warm so that wasn’t great but my big breakfast was tasty which made up for not being hot when it was served, my partner had the hash brown stack which she wasn’t impressed with it to me it look ok but she didn’t like it at all , my daughter had the eggs on toast which she loved and also the scramble eggs were cooked to perfection, chips were also nice & crispy
Good place for breakfast/brunch. Simple. But simple made very well. Soothing jazz music softly played. Worth coming back for a good meal. Price is good approximately $40-$60 for 2. Portion sizes are worth it.
This review is not about their food, but simple customer service. Staff member/s working on Saturday 23rd October’16 morning shift were very rude and unprofessional toward an elderly man. He tried to purchase a pastry, had money in his hand, but was refused a service by all the staff at the counter. They did that by actively ignoring and disengaging him. Which resulted in holding up the queue for all other customers. He did look a bit strange due to his mannerisms, however all he wanted was a pastry and that is not a reason for the discriminatory behavior.
