Ignore all the good reviews guys! This place has sold to lovely Chinese couple however sushi rice tastes way too watery and salmon smelled really bad. I can tell they are not using good ingredients. Lady at the counter served me chopstick in her hand without putting any servet which i told her. Plus takoyaki wasnt cooked enough and i had to tell her put sauce over it. Worst sushi you can have in Auckland no wonder they only make small amount of sushi. But the owners were friendly
My sensei used to drive here from my high school every Wednesday or Thursday with our classroom’s orders for sushi, spring rolls or takoyaki. I’ve been to many sushi places around Auckland but I don’t trust anyone else’s quality as much as Sushi Plus’. They are completely affordable and the portions given are great, not to mention the excellent quality, taste and freshness, of their meals. It’s my favourite place to catch up with my old sensei and classmates and favourite place to go for sushi too. Definitely recommended. The owners are very nice too, always offering a kind smile. Thank you Sushi Plus 🙂
Sushi plus is very close to where I live and has therefore become my regular source of Sushi. The food is so fresh and yummm. I love their Salmon, Tuna and Chicken katsu. The dumplings are amazing too both steamed and fried. It’s a small corner joint on Hillsborough road with seating available. I would definitely recommend this place if you are around Hillsborough and crave Japanese food.
Yum yum!!!So fresh and valuable price. We are regular customers buy their sushi very often! My favorite is avocado salmon 😉 They have some hot dishes as well, like dumplings and fried rice, all good to try~
I have popped in many times and purchased what looks good on the day just a small place but everything I have bought here had been tasty and lovely and fresh
Delicious sushi that’s good value for money. I also like the hot food here, especially the Bento Boxes. Again, the hot food is good value for money. If you’re in this area, I really recommend this place.
This place is great, I always get the chicken katsu and deep fried dumplings and they are amazing every time. The staff are very friendly and is well priced for a student living in the area!
