We have been eating here since Crustys took over and have always had exceptional customer service along with great pizza!The staff go above and beyond even with picky eaters which makes the experience a pleasant one. Awesome work guys!! 🙂
Pizza: Dry, tasteless base, cardboard like base, cold, dehydrated mushroom, tomato sauce base non existent and tasteless, cheese tasteless and plastic like, cooked in cold dish served lukewarm. Don’t mind paying $30.00 for a pizza if it’s amazing, waste of money. Countdown frozen pizza tastes better by far
We ordered two burgers , one beef and one lamb. We were quite happy with the price and the portion we get. The burger taste great as well for its price, loving the thick filling paddy and garlic mayo sauce. The one lacking thing are the chips, it was over cooked, some were burnt and quite dry. We think the portion we got would be better if its $3.50 instead of $4.50. Overall its a budget place for some good burgers.
Though the olives were missing off my pizza (which I think was menulogs mistake – not the business), customer service was super friendly, delivery was to expected time and food was quite tasty! I ordered in hope of discovering a more authentic Italian styled pizza joint, as west Auckland seriously lacks this option (sidenote: Crusty’s don’t exclusively adversities as Italian but I was being hopeful haha). Though not what I was hoping for, I would still 100% recommend Crusty’s over any chain pizza joint because the food was quality and service was spectacular!!
The pizza we chose, was the Pattys, and it was perfect in every way, notably the spice/herb level was that sweetest hint of indian and classic pepper. Base wasn’t too heavy, good amount of crispness. The ingredients weren’t too much, nor too less. The price was perhaps a little high for the amount of food. But the quality was there.AND THEN we tried the beef and blue vein cheese burger. OMFG. Never had anything like it. It blew every qualitative record away. Every part, was not only perfect, but next level. I’ll be back every tuesday for their two for tuesday special.
