Polite and friendly staff. Interiors are both warm and modern. Service is fast and food tastes so good! We went here after our kid’s karate class closeby. We’re apprehensive at first since we’re loyal customers of another Indian resto in Sandringham and used to drive all the way there to satisfy our cravings. But after eating here, we’re proud to say we’re converts and won’t be going anywhere else for Indian food. We had the lamb biryani, palak paneer and they have the best butter chicken ever! And a great price for lunch specials too!
Food was good but unfortunately not worth the 2 hour wait! Friend had booked a table for 10ppl (for his birthday) – we got there at 7.30pm, ordered just after 8pm n got our food close to 10pm… Was offered complimentary entree after 1.5hr but turned out it was just my entree shared around +combined entree bites. Do not recommend booking for big groups as they cannot cater for it.
Reliable local indian restaurant that always pleases. The food is always quick and tastes just right. The wait staff is attentive and will not leave you waiting for long. They serve some regional dishes that you won’t find at every indian restaurant. Highly recommend it.
We visit at least once a week. TC and his team are so friendly and welcoming. The food is always outstanding. They also have a good selection of wine at a very reasonable price.
Favourite Indian place for sure. Beautiful service and great array of options including some that you usually wouldnt see. Will always recommend this place.
Indian Summer is a clean, modern cafe style restaurant which opens right along the front bringing indoor and outdoor dining together. It’s bright, colorful and usually bustling. Owner TC and the team create superbly tasty dishes with great enthusiasm. The service is prompt and friendly, and the food comes to the table nice and hot. Numerous vegetarian options keep my wife happy while I partake of unusually (compared to similarly priced Indian restaurants) high quality meat cuts. We regularly travel quite a long way for the Indian Summer experience. Highly recommended.
