Absolute summer spot! The service here is insane, everyone is so friendly and helpful. Food is delish, especially the chips (theyre triple cooked from memory and you can tell). Have tried an awesome range of their beers now as well. The pale ale is a classic. Definitely worth making the drive over, we have now a few times.
This location is a fantastic addition to the area & a great re-purpose of what was once an abandoned wharf area.They have opened parts of the business bit by bit which is really wise, and this means there is something for everyone. Indoor & outdoor areas, coffee, fish & chips, sharing plates & a wine bar.The only criticism if anything is the noise – not unusual when you have large groups on a concrete floor, it can be hard to hear each other in large groups. The other minus is that it can be quite glary inside with the large door area & no shade. Sunglasses do the trick though.The menu is great with lots to choose from. Fish & Chips from Saltys is quite pricy at $23 (for the portion). I ordered the lamb which was delicious, and at $28, quite reasonable. They naturally have a great range of beer on tap from their own range, as well as others.Well worth a visit
Little Creatures was a very damn average experience. The place itself is so hype and buzzing with people but it’s just too loud, couldn’t even hear myself think. The food is very average just normal pub food to say the least. I had a chicken burger and like it wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t hype it up, my friend got the ceaser salad and she hated it, the chicken was pink, and the salad was so basic they should chuck more ingredients into it. don’t waste your time coming here x
This is nearly new place to enjoy fresh air and food at once.There are huge space to sit lots of people that makes some people uncomfortable not to concentrate chat with meal but the staff serve very activate to all customer who might give more star for them .
Little creature is new addiction at Hobsonville wharf. They have good drink menus and I liked fish and chips. Interior is fantastic and I’ll come back to try more menus and drinks
It was our first time visiting the market around Hobsonville wharf.We spotted a couple of juicy burger coming out from little creatures kitchen and decided to give it a try.The beef burger patty was on spot, you could see a nice inner pink layer after your first bite. Really enjoyed the flavor balance that came from the gherkin piece on the burger. Buns were a little dry in my opinion as they were crumbling apart as I bit them, thats the only reason I wont give it a 5 star.Service was fast and friendly despite the place being packed. Worth coming back and trying out the other options available at their menu.
The foods are average, in fact, slightly over priced for the quality, i.e. the burger my friends had was not hot. If you are a beer lover then you will enjoy the $20 beer tasting tray. I do like the relaxing atmosphere and the industrial style.
