Average service don’t know anyone that orders the roast meals though? They do offer the cheapest nibbles and chips meal for value and also the two ham burgers for $3 which is average burgers but really cheap would recommend for those on the struggles.
Discovered this gem accidentally. On a whim, decided to stop and try their fried chicken, on seeing it was similar to the ‘Nocky’s’ fried chicken from Southmall, Manurewa.I have not been back to Nocky’s since.This place is one of the best kept fried chicken secrets in Manurewa.They have special chicken nibble deals, where I usually go for the 18 chicken nibbles and chips for $10. It’s enough to feed 3-4 people!They cook the chicken as you order so it’s not left sitting in a warmer, but is fresh and hot. The chicken pieces are supposedly dipped in buttermilk before being coated in crumbs, and they come out juicy and delicious because of this (mmmmmm buttermilk….).They’re quick and efficient, usually my order is ready in 10 minutes or less.The chips are usually cooked in fresh oil, and are salty and crisp. The only time this hasn’t been true is of you go during the dinner rush (around 5-6pm), they’re usually rushed off their feet due to high demand.They also do a wide range of general Chinese takeaways and large family platter deals. Service wise, they can be a bit blunt and short with customers as their english isn’t 100%, but as long as you know what you want to order there shouldn’t be a problem with communication. So if you need chicken in a hurry, are in a group or want to take something to a shared lunch but your too lazy to make it, this is the place for you
