Great service at Aunt Lees. Ordered the chicken lunch box which was freshly cooked. Great to have brown rice available too. Salad was fresh & tasty. Didnt like the miso – a lot stronger than normal
We had sushi and the grilled salmon lunch box, which were both nice. What really makes this place great is the staff – they are so friendly and obliging. We will definitely be back.
The people here are lovely, so kind and friendly, and their polite smiles and waves as we leave are part of why we love to come here. The sushi itself is yummy, but don’t take my word for it as I have only tried the Tuna and Avo 🙂
I come here at least twice a week with my boyfriend and we literally get the same things every time. He gets the chicken lunch box and I get the chicken noodle soup. The food is always consistent and they have the best sushi! The staff are always friendly too. Probably my favourite place to eat in Howick.
Pouring down with rain; decided to work from home so stopped by to pick up bento box for lunch. Typical Howick lunch hour traffic with retired people and mostly mums with young kids streaming in and out; guy at counter seemed friendly and appeared to know his customers. It’s a place I’d definately come back to. I don’t often give out 5s but I’m going to for this place; food was only slightly above average; ordered teriyaki chicken bento and mixed sushi box; salad was pretty average but fresh but what I love was little touches here and there. My bento had fruit burst in it! aswell as fresh fruit, teriyaki chicken had generous ratio in my opinion and was quite tasty. Mixed sushi was above average; fresh, flavourful; well presented like should be, way better then generic St Pierre’s stuff and I like how they didn’t use tape or staple to seal/close those transparent containers and how ginger was neatly presented in the corner like a little palm tree; they had good selection of takeaway sushi too, if I had a bigger stomach/larger hands or small Vietnamese slave to carry my stuff I would have totally gotten more. The guy even put cello tape over miso so it wouldn’t spill out and napkin around it so I wouldn’t burn my hand and courtesy to bring it out to me given I was carrying other things. Overall very good value for money I felt.
Great sushi! Has good mini sushi for kids and brown rice rolls. Good seats outside so kid-friendly. Have ordered party packs from here before as well which were great.
GO GO GO. The best at all times.Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic.I was wondering if this sushi shop could open new outlet near city center.It is a little far but worth driving the miles to find it.
