Chips tasted fine. Unfortunately the fish was very dry and over cooked. The real downfall was the headache I got straight after eating. The sort of headache you get after eating powered packed soup (if you have a sensitivity to that kind of food). I’m not eating fish and chips to be healthy, but getting headaches after eating it shouldn’t be expected.
We ordered a special deal of 2 fish, 2 potato fritter and 2 chips and the mussels deal of 12. Batter was light and crispy, fish was fresh and generous portion. Mussels were fresh and large size. Very delicious fish and chips, lightly salted. The only down side is quite a pool of oil very much visible at the bottom of the food. We read the menu from several sources online and all had mussel deal $12 for 12. The young girl took our order over the phone, confirmed the price after she checked it with someone. But when we went to picked up the food, the lady gave us a different price, she then talked to another man in Chinese and both of them walked away, left with the child to explain the situation to us. We dont mind the extra $3 and not wanting to get the child in trouble. But did not enjoy the unsupportive scene.
