We passed by Katch Cafe a few days ago & saw the poster of its bibimbap, etc. It used to have only Western food in the past years; is it under new management now or what? So we decided to have a go on its Korean food.For the new Korean food, we even had to ask for the price of each item. The rice paper rolls were without meat, so we passed. We had the Korean lunch with beef which was fairly ordinary; the bibimbap was good though. We were told that more Korean specials would be added in the future and we are looking forward to that. Maybe some small side dishes will even be more inviting.Visited on 5 October 2018
For what this place is- not very nice interior or atmosphere, I actually quite like it. There a better options in Howick, but some of the food they do here is really nice and different. If you’re looking for a different option, why not give it a try. Generally their baking and smoothies are great.
Pretty standard place – average service, average atmosphere. Food was hearty breakfast meals that could be cooked at home but fine nonetheless. A little pricey I think and if I recall correctly, the hygiene rating on the wall was a little off putting (b grade I think?)
