Very disappointing food. Terrible serviceWaaaay over priced. We ordered 2 large pork roasts. There were no peas or carrots on one of the meals, the meat was tough & the kumara undercooked. On a positive note, the crackling was very nice. The chocolate mousse we had cost $5 a pot (very small pots) and tasted like packet mix only worse. A bit disappointed, unfortunately won’t be going back as it certainly wasn’t worth $48 all up for 2 meals and 2 tiny pots of mousse.
15$ to have a small amount of meat and some pre frozen peas and carrots.what makes it worse is that i found a long black hair wrapped through out my dinner.Worst roast place by far. highly recommend any other place but this.awful service and no professionalism
These guys are useless plain, bland tasting food that tastes worst than hospital food, rude older lady at the counter not very friendly seems to care less about customer service and more about herself not a friendly place to go I should have gone to subway this place sucks and so does the service won’t be going back there again
Slightly disappointed when I found out the special I had chosen was not inclusive of lamb as the other special on the board clearly stated it excluded lamb, so I presumed my special would be fine. However, the lady who served me had great customer service (good enough that I left less annoyed), and the filled roll was just that- packed with meat and salad.
Spitfire is very run of the mill roast shop (sorry to say ) but it feel very franchised .Good meal just not as good as others in area
Asked for a medium summer roast, advertised on the wall at 13.50, got charged 14.50, for that I got a container of average coleslaw, 3 small pieces of potato (so not even a whole potato) and a small amount of bland meat. Also served by someone who wasnt very friendly, I got told abruptly to shut the door because the aircon was on.Howick Roast on ridge road is a million times better than this placehere are some more words to fulfill the quota of letters
$15 for a medium lamb with which I got 4 potatoes a tiny bit of meat and a coleslaw which was just lettuce covered in Mayo, absolute rip off! I thought they were playing a joke on me! And I’m not to sure who owns this place but there was a Indian lady and a young kiwi boy in there bungling around , it honestly looked like a scene from the movie dumb and dumber it took 15 minutes to carve up a bit of meat and put some potatoes in a container, I started looking around for the hidden camera that’s how much of a joke it was which is a pity cos the food you do get is quite good just don’t expect to get your money’s worth. I usually go to SAMs roast in pakuranga and this place reminds me of exactly why I go there. AVOID
