I ordered the smoked salmon bagel and my friend ordered the poached eggs on border grill with iced chocolate and a flat white as our drinks. The food was average as there was limited amounts of salmon, cream cheese and pesto on the plate. I didn’t think it was worth the price for what I got. Coffee wasn’t very strong but the iced chocolate was very chocolatey which my friend enjoyed. We enjoyed the open space in the sheltered area inside though.Food – 3/5Ambience – 4/5Service – 3/5
Our regular Howick Cafe. Their cabinet food are quite nice especially the pies (big oval ones). Today, the pastry (short crust) was a bit too tough on the edges. If I am not mistaken, previously they used puff pastry which was a lot nicer. Its quite a small cafe but there a quite a few outdoor tables and the ambience was nice and relax. littleborneogirl.wordpress.com
