Very nice fried rice and deep fried salt pepper dishes but dishes were generally overly salty and too much msg. Were thirsty after meal. However authentic canton skill and we will go back again.
Let me preface this with the following. I normally set low expectations so that I dont get disappointed. Today, this place managed to only just meet my normally low standard, which is a rare feat.A few plates were ordered and arrived with no fear of oil use. The sizzling beef was devoid of a iron hotplate leaving one to imagine what if.Seasonal veges with oyster sauce? I guess bok choy counts since it’s all seasons. The fried prawns al least mildly flavoursome, though were unable to defend themselves from reaching us in a soggy state of affairs.Service wise is much the same. Friendly in appearance, but equally inept in ability. A drink ordered before service that doesn’t arrive until the final moments is about on par with a manager that scolds a 5 year old from squirming in their chair (yes that happened too).My mind and heart say to leave. The MSG in the food is the only voice saying stay.
Friendly people but the food is pretty bad. Had sweet and sour pork but tasted exactly like the ones you get at fish and chip shops. Dim sims are alright but quite pricey for the quality.
We got a Grab One voucher for this place – $25 for 5 dim sum plates. We were actually super impressed! All of the food were promptly delivered and well cooked, with nice oils and seasonings where applicable. Ive been to a few very average dim sum places, and I would definitely call this place above average. Plus my beer was only $7. Id happily pay full price for the food, the Grab One deal is a real steal though. Give it a shot!
i ordered salt and pepper squid and prawn dumpling and steamed buns.service was friendly.the squid was super greasy, hardly any dipping mayo. no flavour. pools ofoilleft on the plateprawn dumpling was just chopped prawn in a dumplingwrapper. no dipping saucepork buns were just Ok.won’t recommend
Service was friendly, food was ok and generous but a bit pricey. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there. The pokie machines are a bit of a distraction especially when you see someone walking in at 930 pm to play them – in her pyjamas!
Went here for the first time, a couple of days ago. Food was pretty good and satisfying, however my partner didnt enjoy. However, portion sizes were very generous and was plenty for two, which I was very pleased with.
