Just another standard roast place. Our regular roast at Glenmall roast was shut for some reason, so I came here. Guy who served me was very welcoming and friendly. Good amount of gravy they give as well a meat and veges, although there was quite a lot of fat given to us. Crackle could have been a bit better Just a good old Sunday night roast meat out west.
VERY VERY VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! OWNER IS A BAD BAD PERSON!! AND HIS WORKERS. I WENT THERE LAST NIGHT WITH MY FAMILY TO BUY SOME DINNER AND MY DAUGHTER ASKED FOR A THICK SHAKE. I AM MAKING THIS COMPLAINT BECAUSE THE OWNER WOULD NOT GIVE OUR MONEY BACK FOR MAKING A DISGUSTING MILK SHAKE IT WAS PARTLY WARM HAD NO ICE CREAM IN IT SO IT WOULF BE COLD . IT TASTED LIKE THE MILK U DRINK STRAIGHT OUT OF THE FRIDGE NOTHING THICK ABOUT IT AT ALL. AND BECAUSR MY DAUGHTER FOUND IT RATHER DISGUSTING I TOOK IT BACK AND TOLD THE GUY HAT IT TASTED AWFUL AND IF HE COULD MAKE ANOTHER OR IF NOT CAN WE HAVE OUR MONEY BACK. THE OWNER TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY SAID NOPE NOT MAKING ANOTHER ONE AND NO U CAN’T UR MONEY BACK. THEY TRIED TO FIGHT MY PARTNER IN THE RESTAURANT CALLED HIM BAD NAMES SWEARING AT HIM WHILE THERE WERE OTHER CUSTOMERS IN TJE STORE. THE OWNER CAME OUT TO FIGHT MY PARTNER IN THE RESTAURANT!! WHAT KIND OF OWNER DOES THAT!? HE REFUSES TO GIVE THE CUSTOMERS MONEY BACK AND TRIES TO FIGHT THEM! WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS IS HE RUNNING!!? HERE IS A TIP FOR U OWNER!! IF U DONT KNOW HOW TO MAKE WESTERN FOOD . THEN JUST STICJ TO FRIED RICE AND NOODLES OK. AND ALSO TEACH YOUR EMPLOYEES SOME MANNERS AND TO RESPECT THE CUSTOMERS. CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT. IN THIS CASE THAT IS. WHY COULDN’T U JUST GIVE MY DAUGHTER’S $3.50 BACK !! MY DAUGHTER DIDNT LIKE IT SHE SAID IT TASTED LIKE THE MILK YOU DRINK AT HOME. I TREID IT AND MY PARTNER TRIED IT AND WE ALL AGREED IT WAS DISGUSTING! YOUR THE OWNER YOU SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILITY !!! AND YOU NEVER TRY AND FIGHT YOUR CUSTOMERS ESPECIALLY IF YOUR WRONG U STUPID IDIOT !!! WE WILL NEVER EVER GO TO YOUR RESTAURANT EVER AGAIN AND WE WILL TELL EVERYONE WE KNOW TO NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!! Got a meal at Stanleys roast and was pretty much cold took it back and got my money back no apologies l got the impression they couldn’t get rid of me. I have been a regular customer and normally very good. Will not return
I ordered pork roast. Was pretty yum 🙂 could do with more apple sauce but that’s the same problem with any raster takeaway shops haha. service was great.
Absolutely Poor. Ordered Chicken Kebabs that turned out dry. Large Roast had minimal small cuts of meat. Worst of all it’s obvious customer service is not at the top of their list. I felt it was like a race to get rid of me-slip,slip,slap!!!!! I felt like a number and my business wasn’t appreciated. Would strongly advise not coming here!!!!!!
Somehow my previous review was deleted. So I give it a second try. I went to the place again a few days ago.. I bought the same food, chicken roast meal. I was surprised! The service has improved and the chicken roast meal has improved too. It taste better and not too dry. I think it’s worth a try if you are thinking of a chicken roast meal but don’t go there with a high expectation.
Give this place a solid 3.5. Roast meals are of good quality and the taste is nice. Nice for a break from fast food. Good portion sizes and owners are always friendly. Only downside is the meals are sometimes cold.
