We came here when driving past it and decided to give it a try. This is a Franchise restaurant all the way from Yunnan, China, which is a city that specialises in rice noodles! The restaurant took me back to China too! The menu is very well-presented and features their good-value Combo sets; each combo includes a meal and a drink of your choice. We got the Sour Fish Soup Rice Noodle set with Coconut milk tea and Boiled Chicken Rice Noodle set with Strawberry Bubble Soda Tea! Also sweet and sour pork ribs and tea eggs on the side! Food arrived EXTREMELY FAST, everything was at the table within 5-10 minutes! The noodles itself come separate in a bowl, while all the other ingredients are in the soup. However, I would say the portion sizes are a bit underwhelming for the price you pay, and in comparison with the size of the bowls. – Sour Fish (8/10) the fish is INSANELY TENDER! And full of flavour! Best to slurp up all the noodles while its still hot! – Boiled Chicken (8/10) Chicken was cooked nice and tender, and they provide gloves for you to rip and shred the chicken yourself (when it cools down a bit). The other ingredients in the soup included ham, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, fried soy bean, just to name a few. The soup was nice as you drink more of it, with fresh aromatic flavours coming through. – Coconut milk tea (10/10) I usually am very hard to impress with milk teas but this amazed me! Its a very sophisticated blend of flavours that first tastes like taro, black tea. Then you taste coffee and then coconut! It wasnt sweet and tasted so good with the fruit jelly too! Well-sized as well! – Strawberry Bubble soda tea (8/10) part of their summer soda tea range, its very fizzy and refreshing! The soda probably got a bit too overwhelming for me after awhile though, but it really enlightens your taste buds while you eat! The strawberry pieces were canned ones though; would have liked to see more fresh strawberries instead. If you spend over $50 (we were $54) you get a free $10 voucher to use within a month! Strategic way of getting lots of returning diners! The combos are good because their tea range is quite nice. They do get busy around dinner time and parking is convenient. I would say their portion sizes need to be more aligned with the sizes of the bowls and their price. Nonetheless I would still come back and try their other rice noodles! Food: 8/10Price: 8.5/10Service: 9/10Ambience: 10/10
Came in for dinner tonight with the family. Ordered the tomato sliced beef soup rice noodles. The broth was really delicious and it made me want to drink all the soup. The noodles came with ham, sliced beef and lots of cabbage. The restaurant gave out free refills because their portion sizes weren’t that big. Also ordered an oreo milk tea to try. The milk tea didn’t have much oreo or milk tea flavour but the size of the drink was huge.
Food: 4/5Service: 4/5Overall: 4/5Finally remember to write a review for this restaurant. I went there last month with my colleagues for lunch. The pictures of the rice noodles are really tempting and lots of choices available. I got mushroom rice noodles and it goes with mushroom (of course), tofu and ham and the soup was pork based. So if you are a vegetarian, remember to let them know beforehand! The soup were served with a piping hot pot and the noodles were in a separate bowl. I recommend putting the rice noodles in the soup and wait for a while first as the rice noodles are a bit dry and chewy so better let them soak with the soup. Plus the soup was really really hot. The serving size is big and all my colleagues had satisfied tummies. There were so many people dining in the restaurant so I guess we have come to the correct place!
