Mediocre grilled food but stellar shakes and deserts! Had the New Yorker burger, shoestring fries, Reeses peanut butter milkshake, royal Arabia flatbread sandwich and the chocolate blondie. The food hinted more to the Turkish side with a lot of similar dishes and cumin/yoghurt sauces. I was hoping for a hearty dinner but was left with a disappointing and underwhelming sized burger for $13. I was expecting something bigger for that price. It was even listed under the gourmet burger section. however, the beef patty was succulent and had nice flavors. Same goes for the flatbread where the outer coat was very dry and so were the meatballs. However, the flavors were really lovely, nice Turkish herbs. The fries lacked salt but were a side dish so not too significant. The shake was amazing. Ive had sickly sweet shakes in the past where youd only want a little amount, but with this shake I couldve drank another 5! Kept true to the Reeses peanut butter flavors as well! The desert was lovely with soft serve on the side and warm, melting brownie with caramel on the top. Really indulgent and nice to share as it was cut in half. Didnt really like the pieces of walnut inside as the texture was a bit jarring but its just a personal preference. The decor was a little dated and plain with colored chairs that didnt really match the brown wallpaper but there was a window overseeing Kingsland and a spacious upstairs dining area. Came at 5pm for dinner on a Thursday, really quiet too. I would have rated the place higher if I came for afternoon tea for the milkshakes, but for dinner, it didnt meet my expectations as a restaurant. Overall, if I were to come back again Id definitely come for the shakes! A wonderful selection to choose from. It would be a dreamworld for kids.

Quite a nice place tucked into Kingsland. There’s nothing that special about this burger & shakes kind of place but these guys did a pretty good job of both the burger and shake. The chips were decent too. The shakes menu is extensive which was a plus.Overall a good place to catch up, but nothing too fancy. Prices are also very reasonable.
