I’ve visited this place with my friends from China and have tried multiple versions of the rice noodles availavle. The food is absolutely delicious (not for the faint of heart), full of flavor and chilli. According to my friends it resembles in flavor to the food you can have in Southern China which is amazing. I relish the spices and even thinking about them makes me want to go back again.One recommendation/personal preference though, I enjoyed the dishes better when I asked for the soups separately, rather than in the noodles.
Came in for a family dinner tonight. Ordered the pork mince rice noodles, the traditional guilin roast pork rice noodles, sliced beef and tripe in chilli sauce and the shanghai bok choy. The rice noodles felt like they were handmade. They were the perfect noodle texture. Not too thin or thick. Blended into the spicy broth, the flavours overlapped, indulging my palate and burning my throat while melting my heart. The mince was finely diced to the perfect size, allowing us to taste its original flavour while also absorbing some spicy broth. The egg was soft and fluffy, mingling with the noodles down my throat. Sliced beef and tripe in chilli sauce was delicious. The meat was thinly sliced and was able to soak in the perfect amount of chilli sauce. This restaurant also gave out free rice noodle refills.
