I thought the chocolate caramel slice was crumbly & too sweet. These guys sell the best quiche tho- it would sell for more if it were from a cafe. Good range of deep fried food & healthier sandwiches too.
Kingsland Bakery is pretty much my childhood. I’ve grown up coming to this bakery and they never disappoint. From what was my go-to for buying my lunch, is now my go-to for the post-town/hangoverfeeds + buying me lunch. Times have changed but the food from here sure hasnt! Best bought fresh in the morning when the food is made, but still just as good towards the end of the day! They also sell the best pies in NZ hands down-don’t even try to @ me lol.
I forgot to take a picture but I got the White Chocolate Afghan for $2Afghan’s are my favourite cookie and I’d never tried a White Chocolate one so I thought i’dgive it a go and it’s a YES for me!It’s not as rich as a traditional one but still so good with the crispy Cornflakes and decent amount of White Chocolate coated on top.
Kingsland Bakery saved me on many occasions when I didn’t have time to prepare lunch or dinner. Their pies are pretty delicious and affordable and the owner is very nice too. It shall continue to save me.
This is a solid bakery effort. The cream is not mock cream, the sandwiches are good value. I haven’t tried the pies get, but I anticipate they’ll be decent. This is my go to lunch that I can buy on my way to work. I also have a troubled relationship with clairs, and I have to try not to eat them too often. At $2 each, they’re too damn affordable from this place.
