The service here was so good. Like uncommonly friendly and helpful yoAnd I think this place pretty legit. It’s not your regular European chinese joint, I have a feeling (as I have no genuine experience with actual legitimate chinese food lmao) that this place is for real. I did not recognize much on the menu but the waiter and waitress helped us out lol Yum kinda strange but yum, we got the steamed pork, what everyone else got looked friggin gooood so yeah, great place.That buckwheat green tea was straight heavenly.
We ordered wushan grilled fish, xiaolong bao, fried eggplant and bean, shanghai style smoked fish and shrimp. The grilled fish looked big, however when we started cutting it, I realized it was pretty small blue cod. Taste was average. It’s quite pricey compared to the other restaurant across the road in terms of quality and portion. The only good remark from friends was silver piece shrimp, which had crispy skin and was tender inside.
