Sometimes you try a place and you know youre going to be coming back after your first bite. Uni Pizza was one of those places. This cool little joint in Kingsland served us some of the best pizza Ive had in a while. The sourdough base was such a treat, it was so chewy and flavoursome and just filled ma cheeks, I loved every doughy bite. We tried #4 and #7 and I cant decide which I loved more. #4 was a tangy taste explosion with notes of fresh mint, lemon and goats cheese feta singing through prominently in every bite. There was a fat amount of mozzarella which I always appreciate, and the tangy sharpness of the flavours was balanced perfectly with the sweetness of the caramelised zucchini. #7 was a luscious beast with thin slices of roasted potato and sweet caramelised onion, always addictive truffle oil, and a ridiculously delicious creamy layer of melted mascarpone and mozzarella. Very impressed, will certainly be back to try more!
