We came here to shop and have late lunch. By that time there weren’t many people anymore like they used to do in the morning. I expected food and coffee to come faster than usual but they didn’t. We didn’t get our coffee after we had our food for awhile so I had to asked. We had a chicken noodle salad and a scrambled eggs with creamy mushroom. Food were nice but the coffee was cold 🙁 honestly was kinda disappointed.
Service was great. Friendly & well mannered. Cafe located back of the store in an open garden. Busy but wait time wasnt long. Waffles, fresh fruit & cream was tasty & filled me up. Hot chocolate was good too.
When I heard that they had a vegan menu I was very excited to go try to the new items. I got a chocolate tart, was very chocolatey and super delicious 9/10. Burger was very nice and the chips were delicious super fluffy and crispy at the same time 9/10. One iced mocha and one iced choc, was nice but standard nothing to special 6/10 and a salad on bread with dip dish, it was very tastey. Nice and lemony salad with crispy kale bits and the bread was yum 8/10. The service was great we had a young male server who was full of energy and was funny. Food came out rather fast for a busy lunch time.
Food from Kings Garden Cafe was average, I haven’t been in awhile and decided to come back and order from their menu. The vegan eggs on hash (right) (5/10)was something new to try but the hash was too oil and eggs had no flavour and texture was more like guacamole. Pulled pork (left) (5/10) was just as oily and pork was tough. The jerk chicken taco (top right)(6/10) was very dry but salsa was yum and flavourful.
