Came in on a Saturday with my kids and didn’t have a booking. They were quite busy but still managed to seat us and give us amazing service, the lamb shank was the perfect winter treat and the kids meal comes WITH a sundae so I treated myself to a delicious gluten free brownie. Venue was a little bit too warm but other than that, a great dinner out. Definitely will be returning!
Went here for our staff end-of-year dinner – it was the worst experience I have had at a restaurant anywhere. We were seated at our allocated time of 7pm. It took about half an hour for all our drinks to be served (there are 12 of us), and 3 HOURS for 2 entrees and our mains to be served. We might have been more understanding if they were super busy, but there was ONE other group at the restaurant! When the food eventually did arrive, it was overly salty, either overcooked or undercooked (blue steak when well done had been requested), and the seafood stank, i.e. not fresh! A few of us had bad stomachs after this food. During the waiting, a couple of us went to the kitchen window to see where our food was, and they saw the chef nuking the fish in the microwave! Needless to say, we were all extremely disappointed with our experience here, will never recommend and will never return.

Very disappointing. Waited over an hour for our food. two tables which arrived after us were served their food before us. Ordered cocktails which were different from the description on the menu. Why list ingredients if you are not going to stick to them?
Being an American from Texas, it’s so hard to find good TexMex or Mexican food here (understandably so). So when I hear of a place that I haven’t tried, I want to go RIGHT NOW – and my husband agreed to indulge me and make the drive to Manly. The chips and salsa made me happier than a kid at Christmas, that alone was worth the drive. I ordered the steak fajita, and I’d probably rate it a 3.5 stars… was nice enough but didn’t really satisfy my desire. If they made a Chimichanga I’d be super happy, but the choices were Fajitas, Burrito, Nachos and Tacos. If I go back I’d probably try the pulled chicken tacos next time. 🙂
