Such a local favourite, definitely recommend this place. They have a real pizza oven and they good! Eaten here twice now, first time I ate the lamb shank and second time was meaty pizza. We order take away pizzas often. The service is good and they pour a proper glass of wine, big positive for me!
Went with my family on a Saturday night. The restuarant was half full at 6pm and filled up while we were there. There was plenty of choices on the menu from share plates, salads to pizzas, to lamb shank and pork belly. They also had a kids menu available and my son enjoyed colouring in and doing the crossword. We started with breads and dips which we yum, just needed more dips as they ran out before the bread did. My sons kids nachos arrived first, meaning he was kept busy while we waited for our meals. My daughter pizza was amazing and she took half home because she couldn’t eat it all. I had the dukkah crusted lamb with kumera and salad. Lamb was delicious. My husband had pork belly confit which he thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were flexible with our dietary requirements. Nice evening all round!

We had the most fun weve had for ages and, as always, the best food. Wonderful vibrant atmosphere, friendly efficient staff and service, and the very best steak, lamb and fish! Cant recommend MBG highly enough!
