The food is really good but I ordered the $12 combo which has 2 scoop chips but when you get it looks like 1/2 scoop bit pricey for what you get.
Need to update prices as different online to board menu in shop by a couple of dollarsOtherwise food is good like the makeover of the shop …..
Might be good to order at the shop as we ordered on the phone.When we picked up(on time) they were soggy and stuck on the paper.never had experience like that at other fish’ chips shop.
A great local takeaway. Their burgers are especially good and the chips are always hot and perfect. We have been there hundreds of times and never once been disappointed.
Decided to have some fish n chips after a whole day at the beach -as you do. Drove past this little takeaway first so this one it was!They were quite busy -most likely cos they’re near all the beaches around and esp during summer too. The prices here are pretty decent. Not overpriced considering their location. Service was good. Served up pretty fast too. Their American hot dog was the best! The bread roll was soft, full of cheese (and onions) and just enough sauce. Would definitely come back here again.
Great service each time. I always order by phone, my order has always been ready to collect on time. Staff are always polite and helpful. The food is fresh and non greasy, although the thick shakes could be a little thicker!
I used to go here alot many years ago..food was good, especially the cheese and onion burger,the fish etc..i stopped going because they musta changed ownership? Or cooking staff?Because the food went to crap..And there hygiene cert went to a bWas all abit grotty and un appealing.So after many years of then avoiding the place, i saw in passing an a hygiene cert…thought id give my old vice another chance..Mistake..service was poor..its run buy a bunch of kids, it was still messy..and the food hasn’t improved..sad to say,the old days will never return
