Mothers day Sunday last. Mid-dayish, very busy. Ordered 2 x coffees and a cherry tart from the cabinet. Coffee came , tart did not. Waited 20 minutes asking twice where it was. Finally told they were making it. No explanation, no time frame, no sorry, nothing. We left and they could still be making it. Service is not just providing food. it is about offering alternatives and communication as much as delivery . From someone who has been in the business for 35 years and knows how it all works( or should work ). When we tried to ask how long we would have to wait, or to get the waitress to listen, we were abused by a smug, slightly shabby, older, female, who was obviously an expert in everything. ( except perhaps her own grooming ) Much as we have enjoyed the place many times we will not be back.
Lovely place for brunch. Staff friendly and service great. My grandaughter has the pancakes and I had bacon, poached eggs and mushrooms. Both meals great. Would recommend.
Best coffee in Auckland, hands down! Food is also great value for money. I come here as often as I can with my partner – its our go-to brunch spot in the area.
Lady at counter always friendly, favourite place to come to for breakfast after trainings, coffee 10/10 & overall great little cafe. Will definitely be back
Such an awesome experience. Amazing Granola . Amazing food amazing service !!!! Paleo breakfast was amazing and the pancakes are delicious and to finish it all off with mixed berry muffins!!! Thank you Steely Blue!!!!
Thank you for having a gluten free option with the bread! All I wanted was scrambled eggs and toast. Was perfect. Other meals looked great. Makes going out with friends easier and was a great meal and well presented too. Had a great time.
Nice place to visit the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Tried the chicken burger and it was absolutely delicious, it was flavorful and yummy yet wasn’t too overbearing as there was a good amount of salad in the burger too
