I and my partner love eating here! I always order the eggs benedict. By far the best eggs benedict I’ve ever had! We drive all the way from Glen Innes just to eat here. Well worth the drive.
I have been going since they opened. Can never pass on their BBQ pork on rice. The staff are nice, the establishment is clean and they always have fresh flowers on the tables. Im not sure why their rating is so low? Ive never had a problem
One of my favourite places to eat. Love the chicken salad as very sizeable and generous serving of chicken with lettuce bean sprouts carrots for only $8. Enough for 2 normal people but im a big eater Lol. The variety of soups are very good and tasty and served in large bowls and the Lamb shank & chicken roast meals are lovely. Service is Ok and i always go back and take family and friends here for a humble meal.
This used to be our go to place but sadly we have noticed the standard of food and service has declined significantly. Spring rolls were always yummy and fresh but not anymore, the lettuce with our last meal wasnt washed and had bits of dirt on it. I received a complimentary hair in my iced chocolate which wasnt mine as it was inside the closed lidded cup, thank goodness the cups are clear otherwise I may not have noticed. Hopefully they sort out the problems but I wont be going back anytime soon.
A big thumbs down for the Loaf. We have been regular customers since it opened, and like their soups. But the doongus behind the counter today charged us $15 for the $5 clear spicy soup. $15 for a pho is obscenely expensive if you’ve had pho on the streets of Saigon or Hanoi anyway – but to get overcharged for the broth on its own is unacceptable. Time the counter staff got some training.
This place used to be good but I went there recently and it was infested with flies and it smelled pretty bad inside. The chicken in the chicken salad that I ordered had gone off. The overall quality of the food has dropped.
We have eaten here a few times before but the standards have dropped. The food prices have increased. We ordered some spring rolls and they were not fresh, pork was off. We told the staff but they didn’t seem to care. The grilled beef on vermicelli is not grilled, just stir fried like what you would find in a Chinese takeaway meal. Not authentic Vietnamese food and overpriced.
