Had work dinner from here which one of my colleagues had bought in so cannot comment much on service. I ordered a large lamb roast meal with a couple of pork cracklings. The meal cost $20 which is a bit pricey in my opinion. The pork crackling was nice and generous sizing. The lamb was moist. Mint sauce & gravy were good. Overall was a good meal. A bit pricey but get a good feed out of it.
I love this roast shop!!! I really can not fault any part of the meals, the meat was tender, the gravy a delight, the vegetables were soft and the gravy was the best I have had. The staff are so lovely here and I enjoyed listening to how they interact with each customer. We decided to eat in and were given proper plates and cutlery, nothing was left on the plate by the end. If you feel like roast this is the place to go
A nice little roast shop located out lonely lynfield hub, just selling all your usual roast meals and fry chooks, had a nice medium size lamb meal with gravy here and well presented and colorfultoo, see pic.
This place is very popular among Lynfield locals that roast chicken gets sold out quite often. Their roast meat is so nice and tender! Roast veges are crispy outside and so soft inside. Their gravy is really good. The best part is that their food is not overly salty. I found other roast shops make their food far too salty but this place doesn’t. Also their fries are the best fries I have ever had from a takeaway shop! So crispyyyyyy and nomss
Welcome to an episode of ‘shite foods are us’. Was on the way home from St Luke’s hungry as a hippie and wanting some roast with crackling. Walked in and ordered crackling which was on display separately as per the usual. Was told I couldnt have that I had to order pork so gave that a miss and went with my initial ‘large lamb’ (what a ball ache) and then watched in horror as they microwaved my veggies.. well done lynnfield microwave… Would rather shit in my hands and clap than return here. You get a one.
My client from Lynfield took me lunch. I had no expectation at Roast shop usually but i was wrong their roast lamb and vege was devine. Roasted vege, kumara and potato were crispy and cooked in perfection.
I would give 5 stars but the last time I went to this roast place the meat and gravy was really dry and tasted off, the next day my stomach was a little dodgy. Every other time I have eaten here it has been absolutely amazing.
