Stick with the coffee would be my recommendation. Toasted Panini was ok but wasn’t great as suggested by others. The risotto was awful and tasted like rice in salty soup. The prawn was fresh but it was not enough to rescue the dish. There were flies everywhere. The place was not upkept at all. Bathroom was filthy . To make the experience from bad to worse, we were declined to use the entertainment card for discount due to Anzac Day which totally wrong. They just didn’t want to give any discount.
Rhythm Cafe serves good strong coffee so good their panini is delicious. Their big breakfast menu and hot cake with syrup and fruits must try menu. Located in pretty green gable shop. I’d recommend to all!
Not bad, not bad at all. I purchased an Eggs Benedict with avocado and portabello mushroom instead of my usual salmon due to my transition to eating less meat. It was nice. Eggs were poached well. The service was nice and the girl serving me even cracked a joke as awkward as it was but it was funny and we laughed so good on her for making an effort! The atmosphere was nice with plenty of art to look at or buy as much of it is for sale. Standard North Shore Pricing $15.50 (NZD) for the Eggs Benedict. Also I was handed a glass of water with my meal which was a nice touch. Family friendly with water bowls for the dogs and high chairs for the little ones new to this world. Plenty of seating.
My friends picked the place this morning for some brunch. And I’ve got to say that Rhythm Cafe is amazing. The atmosphere is really free, lively and just comfortable. The staff are super friendly and patience, and this is saying a lot because a bunch of groggy indecisive girls on a busy Sunday morning isn’t the easiest to handle. The food came out fast and is reasonably priced, I would say cheap even. We ordered the Rhythm & Poetry B’fast, Angel Bay Beef Burger, and I think my other friend ordered a salad. The food looked so appetizing when it came out, I’m so used to seeing greasy fried cafe food. This was refreshing, and the food was delicious too; with huge portions. I would come here again!
The food here is affordable and delicious! I had Jesse’s breakfast samba and it was a delight. The eggs were scrambled well – moist and fluffy. I will definitely be back for more !
Enjoyed Saturday morning here. This is Great cafe. The coffee here always tastes perfect. Very friendly owners and staff with great service and a smile. The music is always good, and the place has a good atmosphere. I had the eggs Benedict. It’s excellent. The hollandaise sauce was perfect, and a can rarely say that anywhere. The coffee is fantastic, though I wish they would sell an organic variety. Free WiFi is convenient, but glitchy.
Always friendly staff and really great coffee, my go to place on a Saturday and Sunday morning
