We love this place. Good old fashioned great quality and friendly service. The food is always fresh and hot and the gravy is delicious! It’s super popular too, people are constantly popping in but there’s usually always a table available. Highly recommend (been going for years and won’t go anywhere else).

Located on the mangere bridge strip.We wanted a quick Sunday Roast after work so this was the closest one to us that was still open at the time and im so glad with the choice I made. Ideally we were after a lamb roast option but they were all out by the time we got there.I ordered the beef roast and a caramel cheesecake.Kai Mai got a pork roast and extra crackling so we can enjoy it on the trip back home First 2 crackling strips was delicious crispy and had that crunch sound the rest was soggy.I was really impressed with my roast choice compared to other roast places I’ve been to the container from Brandys Roast is much bigger so you get more quantity for the amount yoir paying for so for a Large anywhere else your paying almost $20.00 this roast me is $16.00My beef was still tender. The gravy and roast veges were average however if you’ve been craving a roast all day and got this you would’ve been satisfied would’ve given them a 4.5 just for this roast but then again this is a overall rating of this place and I’m giving them a 3 as the pork meal my husband got was very dry. Even when it was smothered with Gravy. The pork cracking was disappointing and the caramel cheesecake although it looks devine and smells delicious like the orange eggnog Macintosh lolly after 3 scoops you can’t handle another scoop as it was 2 sweet.Would I ever return? Yup just to try the lamb roast and because I know the beef roast will be worth the drive after work.
