Went to get some bread this morning and you’d think the breads would be nice and fresh and hot but no! It was cold and burnt and hard not a good place to buy bread. Wouldn’t recommend coming back here. Waste of time. Waste money. Disappointed.
Very lovely people. I have a special connection with this bakery because it opened on my 9th birthday. A family favourite is the sponge cake. And who could go wrong with a donut?
Really cheap and affordable bakery treats.They have all sorts of bakery treats from, gingerbread men, filled rolls, sandwiches, hot food to cakes, cheesecakes and bread. My top picks would be their cheesecake. Which you can buy a whole cake or a slice. The strawberry or passionfruit one is really nice.Their pizza bread and sandwiches are great value.
There are several bakeries in Mangere Bridge and this is the cheapest. You can get quite a feed in here for just $5, as long you you aren’t looking for the healthiest food. They do have some sandwiches which are reasonably healthy, but the rest is quite fatty – pies, pizza bread, cakes, cookies, donuts, white bread etc. It’s very busy at certain times like Sunday mornings and seems to be well popular. If you are looking to fill up for cheap this might suit you.
