I looooove their chicken. I stay in Manurewa and sometimes, I go all the way out there to Mangere bridge just to buy their chicken and chips lol. Not like other chicken and chips, the skin of the chicken is what makes it different. Love it. Only down side to that though is that the wait time is sometimes long because its so popular.
We often order our takeaways from here and the burgers are AMAZING. The patties aren’t the usual takeaway ones – they seem handmade. Like you would get if you made it yourself. A decent sized patty. Chips have always been well cooked, not overdone. And we often get spring rolls which are delicious too. Nothing negative to say!
In my opinion, the best fish and chips in Mangere Bridge (I haven’t tried anything off their chinese menu). Big fish, and nicely cooked chips, a generous amount for the money. The fritters are good, usually with an extra or two thrown in as well. The hotdog’s on a stick are good value and just the ticket for snack on a cold winters afternoon! Quite fast service as well. They have an ‘A’ rating, though the shop is quite old and run down looking inside.
