I love the food here, its clean and really tasty dishes. I think they have the best roast pork dishes. The soups are delicious and you cannot complain about the cheap prices. I looooove the ginger condiment even the spicy oil. Its a great lil place and they take phone orders which I use most of the time.
The Roast duck and Roast pork with crispy crackle is the best in Sth Auckland. Ive tried a few other joints but have yet to find any better.
The food is always delicious – Love the pork/duck on rice! Wish they were on uber eats or menu log for delivery, would order their food everyday!
Cheap eats anyone? Staff speak predominantly Chinese, some are friendly than others. Ordered the roast pork on rice. The crackle was really crispy-crunchy and the meat was soft and succulent. The rice was perfectly cooked with a side of bok choy. Condiments are selective and can include hot soy sauce, hot sichuan chili oil and ginger scallion sauce. Bottled soya sauce is available on the dining tables. This place can get busy.. fast! Fussy diners should buy their meal to takeaway, as there is clearly a high turnover which can be disruptive and leave you feeling a little cramped for cleanliness and comfort. Well done! and two thumbs up! for the best crispy pork dish that I’ve ever tasted. Only $6.50 and really satisfied. Foodies, take note of who prepares your meal, as I noticed it can make or break the dish. Some like to re-heat and some may not add all the condiments – which you totally deserve 🙂
Its a good place to grab n go with some hong kong bbq food. Luv the crispy pork dish but depending on who’s serving will determine how your dish ends up….as they tend to fill tray up with more rice than anything else
Love this please, sure its not 5 star fine dining, but as a takeaway or even sit in it has great food at an amazing low price. Rice, BBQ or Roast Pork, Bok Choy and some ginger and spring onion mix for $6.50 is a bargain. I reccomend adding the $1 chilli to mix into the rice. we go here for lunch often as quick, cheap and tastes good Photo is of the 2 meat meal though, this is $11
Couldn’t complain about the lunch I had there. actually it very good, tasty and cheap.The duck with fried rice was pretty yummy and so well served that I just wasn’t able to finish it.
