We come from the State, we have been twice there, one in the morning one at lunch time. We had great experience both time. Very good food, coffee is the best one we ever have. The cafe is in an awesome location, very handy to airport. Service was brilliant, the lady has good knowledge of surrounding area, which help us a lots. We would definitely go back if we have chance to visit New Zealand again.
Had breakfast here on Sunday(23/04/2017) – i’ve been here once before for coffee – A big miss ! Flat white tastes stale. Banana Muffin was delicious, couldn’t taste banana but it was Yum. I also had the Chicken Avo & Cheese Panini (pictured) yes i believe they had forgotten about it . Waited 15 mins Before i received it -It was ready in the s/w press but was waiting for someone to deliver-hence why it was so burnt.Not a friendly greeting in the world fromanyone-Only the young boy who was clearing tables.
This cafe has great foods at affordable prices. Being a student who’s on a budget Acorn suits me perfectly. The cafe is spacious and also has outdoor seating for those who enjoy a cigarette or two. The Eggs Benedict and the Big breakfast are a favourite of ours.
These people need to learn customer interactions. Their ham and egg toasted are crap. mashed up egg in a toasted sandwich is a no no.I will never come back here. Roll on KFC.
Came for a quick bite while doing an airport run. The cafe is quite spacious and has a basic menu with standard offerings in the cabinets. I chose the apricot shortcake and my daughter got the peppermint slice. Both were delicious, the apricot filling was lovely and tart, not too sweet. The coffee was ok.
Came here today before dropping my cousin off to the airport. The food was nice I liked my egg Benedict and my cousin liked their pancakes. The price is really good. Coffee was okay my cousin liked her Chai Latte.
