Cheap and affordable bakery treats.Top picks are:Potato top pie! Love the potato top pies here. Filled donuts! They have all sorts of fresh cream donuts and you can get a variety of fillings like custard, plain with just cream, apple(my favourite), passionfruit and chocolate coated ones. Apple pie here is also nice and really good with vanilla ice cream when you warm it up at home.
there is never a shortage of places to go for lunch at the mangere town center and all yer junk food spree, all the big names are here BK, Maccas, Carls jnr, KFC as well as usual fish/chips, bakeries, roast, pizzas etc. Half the place is either food stores and the other half dollar shops. If u want that apple, go to the saturday morning market, but u need to run the gauntlet of more food stalls, food trucks. I stop of at fresh baked and got a fry dim sim skewer and coke..
