Disaster. Because their food is the worst i’ve have tried in my entire life. No flavour , no essence no taste. I would rather starve than eating in that place again……
Ordered online which was easy, didnt expect to have free delivery. The delivery was slighted delayed. The food was great, I had the butter chicken and the garlic naan.
Was staying at a hotel near by and decided to buy dinner from here to satisfy our indian food cravings. We were a bit sceptical after reading the reviews but decided to give it a shot.I ordered over the phone and the lady on the other end was lovely! We ordered the seekh kebab, butter chicken, chicken korma and 2 naans. We went to the restaurant about half an hour after ordering but still had to wait a wee while. The service when picking up our order was lovely too!The seekh kebab was delicious – very flavourful! The butter chicken and chicken korma were both very sweet and had that fake indian food taste. Fortunately, my partner loves that and he thoroughly enjoyed his meal. I did not mind the taste but I prefer my indian food to taste of more than just tomato sauce and sugar. Loved the quantity and tenderness of the chicken in each curry though.
Customer Service was OUTSTANDING – Firstly, the mannerism over the phone was lovely. I have phoned about 3 times and all 3 times the people on the receiving end were great! I forgot that I got dropped off to work today & they delivered my lunch to my work place with no extra fee. The guy who delivered it was genuine & polite, had a fantastic sense of humor & brought the correct change exactly which was helpful! The food was delicious – I ordered a Lamb Korma & the meat was tender & very flavorful. I forgot to mention that I like my Indian Food spicy as this was a mild curry, but it gives me more of a reason to order more next time :)Overall I am very impressed with this takeaway/restaurant & will be recommending you to all my friends & family :)Thanks again!!!
Food wasn’t too bad had better though, just delivery issues the second time around. Didn’t read my delivery instructions. Otherwise order was delivered etc.
Indian Express served very good food in a pleasant ambiance. Staff were friendly and professional. Recommended for those looking for a reasonably priced meal in the Mangere area.
Being there for lunch.. Ordered Briyani $16.50 with extra charge of Raita $3.50. Not worth. It was soaked in artificial color without any flavor. Worst garlic naan ever. Even food courts serve better naan. Service wasn’t great too. No wonder this place was empty. Buckle up guys there is now plenty of options available in the market . Not recommended at all.
